The room was large, with a well-equipped kitchen, enough lamps, and a small television. The bathroom was acceptable, though its curtain didn’t keep water from running out of the shower area, and the wardrobe was small. The motel itself was spacious and close to the seashore, an activity centre, and lots of places to eat. The operator was nice and let guests leave their car parked after checking out.

It’s an easy 90 minutes to Christchurch Airport from here, and the waterfront is just two minutes away. We had a large room and wished we’d booked two nights. The TV wouldn’t work, but that wasn’t a big deal in NZ.

We had room 4, with on-site parking and a great central location. The interior at Tresori is a bit dated, but the room was huge and had a very comfortable super king bed and a decent bathroom. The kitchen had a small fridge and microwave, but no cooking facilities such as a hob. We like Tresori.

The location, bed, and spa bath were all lovely, and the water pressure was amazing. One couch was saggy and low, and there was no air con or basic seasoning like salt and pepper.
