Kevin's a great host and always has time for a chat in the morning. We've stayed twice now and will choose this place again next time we're in Christchurch. Lovely rooms and a great location. Thanks, Kevin! Looking forward to welcoming you to Punakaiki later this year.

Hagley Park is right in front of the house. If you don't mind a walk, it's about 20 minutes to punting on the Avon River and 30 minutes to Riverside Market. The free ride to the railway station was handy, too. As a solo traveller, I loved the warm welcome and the breakfast chat with the host. It felt like staying at your parents' place, and I could return to a comfortable room with a TV. The Wi-Fi signal fluctuated and wasn't strong.

Kevin made us feel welcome straight away, he’s easy to approach and glad to help. The place is great, and we could walk into central Christchurch.

The hosts were so friendly and did what they could to make our stay comfortable. They even gave us a free lift to the train station. A lovely guest house.

The owners were welcoming, and breakfast was great. We stayed for three nights and the location worked really well.
