The rooms were comfortable and spotless, a good place to unwind after work. I was also glad SKY Sports was available so I could watch the IPL. I’ve stayed twice while travelling for work, and the reception team made both visits easy, especially when I arrived late. They were helpful and made sure late check-in was sorted. I’d gladly stay again.

We’ve come back to 37 The Landing many times, and every stay has been amazing. When my daughter recently tried to book another local motel for my birthday, she encountered suspicion and racial remarks and undertones, so she cancelled and booked us here instead. The Landing Whakatāne is affordable, accommodating, and has a great setting.

It was lovely and quiet, and I really liked the spa bath. The place was clean, modern and tidy, and the staff were friendly. During a quiet spell, I saw reception staff cleaning the outside of the motel rooms. I thought that looked professional and was a great way to care for the property, much nicer than seeing people glued to their phones 📱. Thanks, I’ll definitely come back and recommend the motel to others 😎

We had a lovely stay. The rooms were clean and the location was good.

The room was amazing, with a comfortable bed and a great spa bath. The shower and toilet area were awesome too. The kitchen had what I needed for coffee and tea, and the room was very quiet and clean. There was a large TV for watching my special programmes. I’m looking forward to returning soon.
