The food was prepared really well and was excellent, and the beer and wine selection was excellent too. The accommodation and meals were up to city standards, and the grounds were peaceful. We stayed two nights recently while on business in the area. For a place to stay and eat between Roxburgh and Gabriel,s Gully, this is the one. I’d stay again if I’m back. Ants, Christchurch NZ

We came here on a cycling trip and had a very good dinner. I ordered the duck and beef, both excellent quality and cooked by a skilled chef. The other food was very good as well. Our room was tidy and had a very good shower.

The rooms were great and really luxurious. And that Hereford eye fillet was the biggest and best steak we’ve ever had, with a perfect stilton sauce.
