We were made to feel so welcome, and even got to bring our two dogs along for our 30th anniversary stay at the beautiful, historic Hemsworth Estate. They loved being included in the treat. Rebecca looked after us with such care, including our specific and dietary needs, and we were really impressed by the thoughtful approach to the environment and use of local produce. The peaceful surroundings and delicious food made it a memorable visit that exceeded what we expected.

We had a fantastic platter and a tasty help-yourself breakfast, and it was lovely to have our dog with us. We were there for my Dad’s 80th birthday in December. The historic family home has lots of interesting things to look at, and the grounds are beautiful. It felt peaceful and far away, even though it was only 10 minutes from home. The hosts were helpful, and the beds and showers were comfortable. A really lovely place to stay.

The Four Seasons Soiree was the highlight for me, a Bridgerton-themed ball with dancing, cocktails, croquet and even an arrival by horse-drawn carriage. It was just magical. Hemsworth Estate is a beautifully restored villa set in stunning grounds, and the hosts are welcoming and clearly passionate about their business. They also put on lovely high teas and events. I highly recommend a visit.

We had a lovely night away with our little dog. The house was stunning, the high tea was fabulous and breakfast was delicious. We felt very welcome. Highly recommend!

Rebecca welcomed us so warmly that we felt at home straight away. My partner and I had come from the city for a quiet, romantic weekend, and Hemsworth Estate was a wonderful mix of history and homely comfort. We loved meeting Willow, the estate’s beloved dog and local celebrity, and Jema was delightful. She told us the fascinating history of the Guinness family in a way that brought it to life. Breakfast each morning included eggs laid that day by the hens and produce grown on the property. We also arranged a private candlelit dinner in the elegant dining room, with our choice of music, which made the evening feel personal and unforgettable. It’s a lovely place to unplug and reconnect, and we can’t wait to return.
