The room was spacious for two, and it was peaceful. We could sit outside with a coffee in the sunshine, and there was a spa bath in the bathroom. Shops and cafés were close, though it took a good long walk to find a supermarket. We caught buses into Auckland for the Edinburgh tattoo on 19 Feb 2026. It was a lovely chance to relax and catch up with friends while in the city. Thank you, Auckland, for the glorious weather that made the weekend more fun 🌞🤩

Great location, spotless rooms, and staff who were super helpful and friendly. I loved the cleaning Twins, the makeup flannels and remover, and the real milk. Such a nice touch. Thanks, guys, I’ll be back.

I usually grin and bear it rather than leave a poor review. This place could be really nice if the maintenance were kept up. Our room was a good size and layout, but the DW and kitchen sink faucet were broken. There was also a major ant infestation. We complained, but nothing changed. At least we were only there for two nights.

The kitchen was set up well, with everything you need except salt and pepper. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the towels were clean and clear. I’ll definitely stay again soon. This is my new place to stay when I’m in the city.

Getting around Auckland was easy from here, with quick access to the city, harbour, motorways and bridge. There are plenty of nearby shops and places to eat, plus ample off-street parking. The room had the essentials and a spa bath, and the hosts were pleasant and quick to respond. I'd happily recommend it to visitors.
