We picked an upstairs room and were surprised by how roomy, warm, clean, and comfortable it was. The kitchen worked well, and we couldn't hear the traffic. It was also easy to walk to nearly everything, and free parking was provided. The shower pressure was low, though it still did the job, and that may be understandable upstairs. I also spotted a little mold in the shower corners and along the long handle. A bit of bleach would probably take care of it, but if paid cleaners are being used, those spots should be cleaned. We only stayed one night, but we'll definitely be back when we're in Taupo. Thanks very much.

Getting to our room from the parking area was very convenient, and nearby malls and supermarkets made the location handy. Lake Taupo was an easy walk away too. The owner and staff were friendly and kind. Our stay was very clean and comfortable, the towels were replaced regularly, the kitchen was easy to use, and our privacy was respected. We'd definitely stay again.

We spent four days and three nights here last week. The spa and the affordable laundry near the back of reception were useful extras, and the clean, spacious, well-equipped rooms made a good base for exploring. Shops, cafés, restaurants, and the lakeside path are all an easy walk away. The scenery was a real highlight, especially the calm views and lovely sunrises. With friendly service and that setting, it felt like good value.

The unit was bigger than I expected, and the place was well maintained for a very good price. It was also handy for the CBD and local sights. Staff let me collect the key and pay before the usual check-in time, since I didn't need the room until later that evening. I'll try to book again on my next visit.

I really liked how spacious the room felt, with a big sofa, a large kitchen area, and a round dining table. The location is close to the town centre, so I could walk back safely after a night out. The price was reasonable too. I'd recommend this motel.
