I never actually stayed. After looking inside and rereading the other reviews, I walked away and booked a last-minute stay at the brand new, excellent Radisson nearby. I can’t believe I made the mistake of booking this place. Then, after I posted the same review on Agoda, they thanked me for my stay and said they enjoyed serving me. I didn’t check in, so that’s a lie. They can thank me for my money, since I foolishly booked a non-refundable stay, but they shouldn’t pretend I stayed there. The poor reviews say it all.

The room was small and dirty, the TV wouldn’t work, and the air-conditioner remote had a problem too. Hauling luggage up the stairs was the worst part.

I checked in for one night on 10 February and left early the next morning. Afterwards, the hotel charged me an extra $100 cleaning fee, claiming I’d thrown rubbish onto the roof. That isn’t true. They sent a random photo as “evidence,” but it doesn’t prove anything or connect the rubbish to me. I emailed to dispute the charge and got no response. The way they handled this was disappointing and unprofessional. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

The room was okay, though not especially clean and not terribly dirty either. It’s a budget place in the CBD, near Sky Tower, with easy bus access to the airport. If the bar is closed on a public holiday, you may need to call the owner.

The food was good quality for the price, and the staff were nice. Karaoke was really fun, and it’s a good fit for locals as well as tourists. Special thanks to the manager Shubham, a small guy with a big heart. Can’t wait to come back!
