We were there for a concert and had to wait another hour and a half after check-in time before our room was ready. We paid $800, which might have been okay given the high demand if the place had been in good shape. It was horrible and so rundown, though. Even the bacon moves when you're going up the stairs. The beds looked like bananas, the toilet seat wasn't attached, and some dishes were dirty. Two chairs at the table were broken. Some of us ended up sleeping in our clothes on the bed.

We came to Auckland in sad circumstances while visiting Auckland Hospital, and the staff helped us feel calm and settled. They were attentive to what we needed and treated us with the utmost respect and care. Thank you to the staff. We stayed for two nights.

The only decent thing about the place was being able to cook our own meals. There were bugs and cobwebs all over the rooms. It’s clearly a cheap option, but far worse than what I expected for the money spent.

I got bed bug bites all over my body during a two-night stay in Room 36. That's not acceptable. I tried calling to complain, but nobody answered. The hygiene and customer service were very poor, and I wouldn't stay here again.

We stayed for two nights and came away with bed bug bites. When we returned in person to complain, the manager denied it, wasn't helpful, and told us to contact the owner ourselves. It's a serious hygiene issue, and nobody took responsibility. Avoid this place if you don't want the same experience.
