Don't be fooled by the photos, it doesn't look like that now. The place is very old, the beds are uncomfortable, and the toilets don't flush. They don't follow through on requests, and they've kept my personal pillow instead of paying to post it back to me. I'll never stay there again and don't recommend it.

I don't usually complain, but the state of our room pushed me to write this. The walls were filthy, and the toilet had skid marks in the bowl. We even had to ask for hand soap because none had been left. We knew the place wouldn't be five-star for what we paid, but the lack of basic cleanliness and care was a real letdown. We asked for the toilet to be cleaned, and nobody came during our two-day stay. Clean freaks, beware. I won't stay here again.

Sala was especially kind and helpful with my kids, and the service throughout was quick and efficient. They also returned our deposit smoothly the next day. We got a clean, tidy family room at short notice, which was really convenient, and had a great stay at Ascot Epsom Motel in Auckland. Comfortable place and lovely customer service. Highly recommend it.

The room looked nothing like the listing, so soon after checking in we booked another hotel and left. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

The bed was comfortable for the night, but the washroom needed better cleaning.
