The people really made this hotel special. Everyone we met, from valets and lounge attendants to restaurant staff and housekeeping, was great to deal with. Jordan was friendly at the hotel bar each evening, and Joshi at the front desk was amazing and a huge help. The room was spacious and tastefully done, the breakfast buffet was amazing every morning, and the newly opened lounge had great options for the afternoon and evening. The hotel and amenities were top notch, but the staff took it to another level. We stayed here at the start of our New Zealand trip, and that experience made me book it again for our last night before flying out. I’m already looking forward to returning.

JW Marriott Auckland is a beautiful new hotel, with a lovely design where everything feels intentional. The staff, from the front office and check-in to the restaurant and lounge, were mindful, kind, and supportive. We’d also recommend eating at Trivet even if you’re staying somewhere else. We chose the chef’s choice multi-course meal, and the food was delicious with amazing value for the price. We couldn’t pick favourites because every dish was that good. Thank you very much ♥️

Our honeymoon at JW Marriott Auckland felt special from the moment we arrived. The whole team was warm, attentive, and thoughtful throughout, and all those little details made us feel genuinely cared for. We felt welcome, relaxed, and spoiled the entire time, and the stay went beyond what we expected. The hotel is stunning, spotless, and luxurious, with calm, elegant spaces that are beautifully maintained. Every meal was delicious, memorable, and beautifully presented. We spent a week here before boarding our cruise and loved the stay. The hotel was very accommodating, and Leo, the Concierge, helped us pull together a tour after we made the last-minute decision to book it. He even walked with us to the ferry terminal to make sure we got on the right ferry. So helpful! We also appreciated Sarun in the bar area. We ate there several evenings, and he was very sharp.
