The location was a real highlight, and the stay at Ropatinis felt special. We learned more about the area and life in NZ, and felt very well looked after. The room had a comfortable bed, a powerful shower and a good heater. Breakfast had plenty of choice, including a lovely homemade fruit loaf. Thanks so much.

We were a group of seven and had a lovely two-night stay. Teddy gave us such a warm welcome and was an absolute joy. Trish and Collin were wonderful hosts, and we enjoyed chatting with them and learning more about New Zealand. The room was spotless, with a bathroom that felt like a five-star hotel and had great water pressure. There was a heater in the room, and even the beds could be warmed. Trish had breakfast lovingly prepared, from homegrown berries to delicious muffins and bread. 10/10 ✨💕

Being at Ropatini's felt like being at home, and the rooms were very clean. Trish and Colin were happy to help with suggestions for things to do, places to visit and where to eat. Nothing seemed too much trouble. It's a great base for exploring the West Coast.

Breakfast was magnificent, with fresh eggs from the chooks on the property and homemade bread. We spent at least an hour enjoying the view of Mt Cook and talking with Trish and Collin. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel like old friends. The units were spotless and comfortable, and they did everything they could to make sure we had what we needed. We can't recommend Ropatinis highly enough. If you're spending a few nights in Fox Glacier, stay here and enjoy it. 👌 👍

The owner was friendly and lovely, and gave us great advice. There were sheep, chickens, and Teddy, a smart, clever dog. I'm grateful this place helped make the trip so good for my family.
