We left at 6am, and I definitely won't make the mistake of staying here again. The room smelled so bad that my 8 year old kept saying it smelled like rat pee. There was grime caked onto the walls and bench tops, and three incense sticks had been set out around the room to cover the odor. Outside, three or more old mattresses were ripped up and dumped beside our room, rubbish was scattered around, and the large bin had its lid open. The view out the window was just toilet paper, cigarette butts, rubbish, and a shed that looked like another dumping spot for broken junk. Cardboard air fresheners like the kind that hang from a car mirror were lying all over the room. Even the TV cord couldn't reach the PowerPoint on the opposite wall. I checked in easily at reception and drove to the room with my two children, but I wouldn't recommend spending your money here.

The room looked nothing like the pictures online. It was disgraceful. The headboard was chipped with paint missing, and I counted five air fresheners crammed into the small room and bathroom. We had paid three weeks ahead, so they had time to put us in a better room. The TV was mounted on the wall, but its cord wouldn't reach the outlet, so I had to take it down and prop it on a table. A big gap between the door and wall let in the sound of weather and road noise all night, even though the weather was clear, possibly just wind. The curtains didn't cover the whole window, so anyone could look in. It was supposed to be non-smoking, yet there was loose tobacco in the bedside table and a single ear plug. They say rooms are sanitised daily, but the floor beside the bed smelled like rotten mice, with two air fresheners left over that spot. What a dump.

The sheets were clean and the shower pressure was great, but I wouldn't stay here again or recommend it. The room felt worn out and dated, with huge cockroaches in the bathroom and a disgraceful courtyard outside. The carpet was badly worn and had holes, bathroom cupboards had no handles, and the bathroom ceiling was shocking. The TV remote was held together with cellotape, and we couldn't get the volume to work.

We lasted five minutes before leaving. The bathroom was dirty and mouldy, the floor was filthy, and the room smelled. We were all itching as if something was biting us. The remote had no batteries, and there was some kind of white substance all over the wall and TV cord. Outside, there was rubbish everywhere and a dirty rolled-up bed propped against the wall. The door looked as if someone had tried to break in, with a huge gap where it had been pried open. When we arrived, everything was locked and nobody was in the office; eventually someone showed up and handed us a key. We're trying to get a refund because this was completely unacceptable. I don't know how this place is still allowed to operate. It's a health hazard.

This was the worst motel stay my family and I have ever had. The courtyard at the back was covered in old trolleys and furniture, and the drawers had missing knobs, dust, dirt and hair inside. Rats had chewed through the wall under the bathroom sink and started eating the toilet paper we stored there. The bath and shower still had soap and hair from previous guests, and the fridge and freezer leaked enough to leave a puddle. WiFi kept dropping out and was down for almost a week at one point. Absolutely disgusting and a rip-off. If you have another option, take it.
