Mt Albert Motor Inn

The room was in quite poor condition, and the beds were uncomfortable with flat pillows. It was set up for two people even though there were three of us. We booked specifically for the spa, then arrived to find it wasn't in use, despite the website saying it was available. This might do for an emergency night's sleep, but I wouldn't recommend it for team building or family getaways.

Rooms are serviced daily, and the staff were friendly and efficient. It's clean, tidy, comfortable budget accommodation, set back from the main road and reasonably quiet. There's a park and a decent-sized pool next door, which is handy with kids. St Lukes shopping mall is close, as is a bus stop, and Auckland Zoo is about a 5-minute drive away.

The staff were lovely and made me feel welcome. The manager and his colleagues were great, and the rooms were cleaned and attended to every day. I really enjoyed staying at this relaxing motel. It's quiet, well situated near the shops, and has great parks nearby for children, plus a great pool area. I'd definitely book here again and recommend it to friends and family, whether couples or families. Thanks to the lovely staff for accommodating me. It's an awesome place to stay if you're in the area and need somewhere.

Good customer service, including bed-down service. Internet was offered, and there was a pool and spa pool. The basic look is a plus. There are two entrances and parking available on site.
