The “Living Room” is airy, spacious and has plenty of seating. We liked the atmosphere enough to eat there several times, and it’s well worth stopping for food or a drink. In the room, there was a large table and comfortable seating. The bedside light panel could’ve been bigger, so it’d be easier to read and adjust or dim the lights, but we managed. Definitely deserves its 5-star status.

The top floor felt like a dream. A few friends and I booked two suites up there, and Auckland looked fantastic from the windows. The rooms were spacious, the beds comfortable and the furniture tasteful. The staff took such good care of us. And their hotel dog ambassador is the cutest!!!!! I love this hotel and wish I could live there. Well done, Park Hyatt Auckland 🤍. I’d love to return.

We could walk everywhere we wanted to go, since the hotel was so close to all of it. The room was huge, and the bathroom was roomy too, with an ideal layout and size. I’d love to use it as a model for a bathroom in my own home. Beau the low vision dog was a sweetheart. The service was the best I’ve ever had at a hotel: everyone from the front desk and concierges to the valets, porters, Onemata and the other dining teams was friendly, attentive, responsive and courteous. We stayed several nights, and it was the best hotel of our trip. A delightful experience, highly recommend!

The breakfast could’ve offered more. If it hadn’t been included, I wouldn’t have paid extra for it. Still, I enjoyed my one-night stay. Check-in was quick and friendly, and my spacious room was on an upper floor with a nice view of the marina and city skyline. The design wasn’t like other Park Hyatt hotels I’ve seen, but it had the chain’s usual unpretentious style. I also tried the pool and sauna, and they were fine. Nothing stood out as a particular highlight, but it was a pleasant stay.

The people working here are what make the experience so good. We needed help with several things during our stay, and the staff were friendly, world class and took care of us every time. We had one of the lower tier suites, while our friends had a standard king room. Both were great and had awesome amenities. The on-site restaurants were great too, with delicious breakfast options, and you’ll want to try everything. There’s plenty of shopping and food within easy walking distance. Gorgeous rooms and good food are a bonus, and I’ll stay here again next time I’m in Auckland.
