QT Auckland

For our 25th anniversary, you left a little plate of goodies in the room. Those small touches make a huge difference, thank you! The room was stylish, and we loved its details and lighting. Room service was excellent, especially the breakfast pizza, and the coffee was smooth. It was a perfect weekend staycation, with a great location for a sunset stroll among the boats. We did run into one odd problem: casting a film from our phone to the TV was impossible because it seemed all the other guests could control the settings. That was a wild ride. We'll be back!

Shannon in the Esther dining room made my birthday breakfast special, with little cakes, a candle and fruit. She and her wonderful team, Catherine and Lucky, made every breakfast morning a pleasure. The hotel is lovely, and that birthday stay felt even more special thanks to them. Thank you for making it so perfect. Wendy and Grant 😊

The lobby was often crowded, with guests' luggage taking up most of the available space. We also heard more hallway noise than we'd have liked, and the room's ambient lighting ticked for 15 minutes after we switched it off. The shower worked well, though changing its water modes wasn't easy. Those were small issues in an otherwise very good stay. QT Auckland's stylish, funky, thoughtful design runs from the lobby through the restaurant and rooftop bar to the rooms. Staff were warm, quick and professional. Our room was comfortable and packed with amenities; the Dyson appliances, quality toiletries and Bose speakers were especially nice touches. I'd recommend it and stay again.

The restaurant food was really good, with lots of variety and healthy options. Our room was clean and nicely decorated, the beds were very comfortable, and the amenities were good. I was travelling with my nine-year-old daughter, and everyone made her feel welcome and special, from the cleaners and maintenance man to the restaurant staff and concierge. Carlos met us downstairs, helped with our bags, found us a room for early check-in and was a delight throughout our stay. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with warmth, respect and genuine care. When we're back in NZ, this will be our first choice. Thanks for such a lovely stay and for looking after us.
