Quest on Eden

The apartment was clean and laid out well, and the daily cleaning service was perfect. We had a two bedroom apartment, and the washer and dryer in the bathroom came in handy. An extra bed was added and was quite comfortable. The city location was great, though Auckland is steep and hilly, so any walk is quite a workout. There was no aircon, so on a particularly hot day you'll need to use the fans. My only gripe is the parking at $35/day. Make sure you're driving something smaller than a Rav 4, because getting in and out of the carpark is a real challenge.

The room was nice, reception staff were helpful, and the location made the stay easy. I stayed Friday to Sunday, and room service missed Saturday. It wasn’t a huge problem, just frustrating to come back expecting a made bed and fresh towels. I also had to follow up about my deposit, but they replied straight away and returned it. I’d still keep an eye on your bank account to make sure the refund comes through.

The Superior Studio was tidy, and the balcony view reached the top of Sky Tower. Shops, Auckland’s nightlife and the city centre are all within walking distance, and it’s right by the Auckland Courthouse. I’d happily stay here again on my next trip.

The receptionist was really friendly and gave us helpful information. We had a comfortable bed and a deck with a Harbour view in room 9D. The room was quiet and clean, right in the downtown area, with restaurants nearby and about a 10 minute walk to the Weiheke ferries. There were basic cooking facilities for a small meal, though the pots and pans were limited. The information on Bookings.com was very accurate.
