For just under AU$150, we got two nights in a two-bedroom place, which felt like a good deal. There were three of us. Each bedroom had its own toilet, though they were on the small side. We could cook, but needed help using the stovetop because the markings weren’t readable anymore. It’s within walking distance of the city centre and very close to University of Auckland. Reception was friendly and helpful. There’s laundry in the basement, and luggage can be left at reception if needed.
8/10
The apartment was clean and tidy, with two bedrooms and bathrooms. It’s in a great spot, close to Queen Street (Aotea Square).

The rooms were clean and had what you’d need for a longer stay. Just be ready for a $200 bond on arrival, which is refunded three days after your stay.
8/10
The beds were comfortable, and the staff were very helpful. We even used the laundry room in the basement. The apartments have balconies and are near the university campus, in a calm area that’s an easy walk into the city centre. The main downside was the heat when the sun shone. There’s no AC, just a couple of fans. For the price it was okay, and I’d definitely stay again.

The accommodation was basic but comfortable. Service was great, and so was the location!
