Middle Park motel has been my regular place to stay in Blenheim while working away, every fortnight for the past few years. It feels like a home away from home. Mandy is a welcoming, thoughtful host who goes out of her way for guests, and her team takes good care of you. The motel sits out of the CBD, so there isn't the extra noise from delivery and rubbish trucks. In the studio rooms, you can pull down the Roman blind on the door for a quiet, private spot overlooking a garden. The rooms are spacious, the beds are very comfortable, and you can cook your own meal. There's a BBQ outside your unit, plus a coffee maker and pods. The shower has a good flow of hot water, and the air con makes it easy to get comfortable whether Blenheim is very hot or very cold. Smart TVs are there too. The motel gardens are beautiful and include a swimming pool. You can pick a lemon in the garden, and in late summer there are delicious grapes growing on the back fence outside your room. Woolworth's supermarket is across the road, and there's a great restaurant a few minutes' walk away. Middle Park Motel is a great choice when you're in Marlborough.

House 142 was a hit with us. It had everything we needed, and we loved the feel of the place as well as its space and cleanliness. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms really nice, and the kitchen well equipped. There was a private deck and a beautiful garden too. We felt very welcome, with 5/5 service. Thanks! The owners clearly take pride in this motel. The gardens are immaculate, and we had a pleasant stay enjoying the pool, swing and BBQ area. The rooms are the nicest we've seen in a motel, beautifully renovated, clean and tidy. Highly recommend!

We found the Middle Park Motel easily on the main road, and it was just the kind of stop we needed on our journey. The unit looked recently refurbished and was clean and tidy. Beds were comfy, and it had Sky TV, a fridge, a kettle and good facilities. The shower was especially good, with plenty of space, pressure and hot water. The manager was friendly and helpful. There's a supermarket nearby, along with a good cafe and a bar/pub serving good food. A handy little stop and great value for money.

We booked through booking.com for $1800, but my partner was charged around $2400 when he arrived at the property. We emailed asking for a receipt and haven't heard back. It's really disappointing.
