Such a peaceful spot above the vineyard, and the breakfast was delicious. We had a really relaxing break. Thanks, Helen, we'll be back.

The owner made my birthday during our two nights at Walnut Block Cottages extra special, giving me a bottle of their own wine and helping my husband arrange local cupcakes. We also appreciated the generous breakfast supplies and the chocolate waiting for us on arrival. The cottage was spotless and spacious, with lovely vineyard views when you woke up. The shower and underfloor heating were great, and the location worked well for exploring the Marlborough wine region. My one reservation was the decor. It felt a little short on character, so the place came across as less luxurious than its quality deserves.

We were perfectly placed for wine tastings and meals, with nothing more than a ten minute drive. The cottage was cute, comfortable, and very well equipped, with a great wine selection. The shower had loads of hot water and strong pressure, and even the soap smelled good. A big thanks to the friendly, lovely staff.

The cottage was warm and had everything we needed, with a wonderful view across the vineyards to Blenheim's oldest walnut tree. Beautiful accommodation and terrific hosts. I'd recommend staying here to other travellers.

We stayed three nights in cottage 1 and would happily return. The cabin was beautifully fitted out, and the surroundings are so stunning that words don't really cover them. First class linens made for a very comfortable stay.
