Handy for the CBD and train station, and good value for money. My room was large and comfortable, with lovely river views. It was well equipped, from the kitchenette and iron and board to satellite TV, and had steady Wi-Fi. The shower had strong pressure and plenty of hot water. I enjoyed my stay, and this would be a good base for exploring the Marlborough Wine Trail in depth. Cheers.

I booked at the last minute while travelling with few plans, just before the busy season. The staff were friendly, the room was clean, and the river view was really nice. The bathroom fan didn't work, and the unit looks like it could use replacing. I'd also have liked a hand towel, though that's just my preference. Face cloths, makeup wipes and bath towels were provided.

After a relaxing crossing on Bluebridge, we checked in late last night. The accessible room was lovely and big, the bed was comfortable, and I slept well. The bathroom was spacious, the shower was bliss, and the kitchen was nice too. I'd highly recommend this place and stay again next time we're passing through. Earlier, while my husband and I were heading to Christchurch for a conference over Labour Weekend, I was looking for directions from the Bluebridge Cook Strait Ferries to the motel. Watch this space for the actual review.

The river view is beautiful, and downtown is just a five minute walk away. Check out the Small Town wine tasting room. Check-in was friendly, and they recommended a great restaurant, Eat Thai. The room was clean and spacious, though neither bed was comfortable, especially the twin. We had one double and one twin.

The disability room felt homely and comfortable, with plenty of space. There were a few maintenance problems: the front door felt wobbly when shut, the bathroom window latch was broken, the handbasin was a little blocked, and the bathroom fan didn't work.
