Podium Lodge

We stayed over the holidays as a ministry, from 25th December 2025 to 28th December 2025, and will definitely return soon. Benjamin was an incredible host and manager, going above and beyond with our requests. The staff were accommodating and helped make it an enjoyable stay. The pool was clean and refreshing, and the spa was beautiful. Thanks to the Podium Lodge staff. Apostle Joshua and Pastor Shenella.

The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable, and the large pool and clean spa were both great, with plenty of seating. If you’re going to an event at the Grassroots Velodrome, this is ideal, just a 2 minute drive or 5 minute walk away. The only downside was that neighbouring rooms could see into ours, so we had to keep the blinds shut. A wall between the five rooms might help. Still, we enjoyed our stay and it served its purpose.

The unit was lovely and clean, and the bed was comfortable. But there was no privacy from the units across the courtyard, which looked straight in unless the blinds were down. Sun-filter blinds would have helped. There was also a sign asking guests to wash their own dishes. That didn’t feel great for hygiene, in case the previous occupants had only rinsed them. For the price, I didn’t think it was good value.

It was a friendly, reasonably priced motel, and I was glad to see it was pet friendly. I didn’t use the pool or spa, but the kids seemed to be enjoying them. There were friendly dogs around with some of the owners.
