Addington Stadium Motel

We were soaked and exhausted when we got to Christchurch late at night after a long trip. Our original motel was shut, even though they knew we’d arrive late, so finding the Addington Motel was a huge relief. The team got us checked in just after midnight and into a clean, spacious, comfortable two-bedroom suite within minutes. They were so accommodating, and nothing seemed like too much trouble. They also arranged a lift to the train station the next morning. Their kindness and care turned a stressful night into a really positive experience. I’d absolutely recommend staying here.

The room was fresh, lovely, and clean, and the staff were really helpful. Big thanks to Nina in particular. We had a great stay and will definitely come back.

Everything was very clean and tidy, and the location worked well for woolfbrook arena and Addington raceway. The bathroom could use a small repair, but we had a great stay overall.

Room 2 had several issues, and the stay was disappointing. Broken bathroom tiles and a soap dispenser that didn’t work were just the start. The shower sprayed toward the window because of the poor layout. There was no bath plug, so I tried the sink plug instead, and it got stuck. I had to free it with a knife so the bath would drain. For an old room in that condition, the price was far too high. I’ll use airbnb next time.
