Wendy was sociable and capable, and our rooms were very clean. It’s a bit out of town, but we enjoyed the walk through the marina. We had a good stay.

I arrived from the ferry at midnight in my obnoxiously loud Subaru Sti Prodrive, and the lovely receptionist was still there to show me to my room. She even lent me tape for my roof scoop and helped fix it in the rain while the car cooled down. I apologized for the noise, but she said she liked the sound of it. The room was clean and plenty big for one, and the free WiFi was useful. The service and value stood out, and I left at 6:30 the next morning in a great mood. I’ll stay here next time I’m in town!

The cottage-style room was small and enclosed, with an open-plan bedroom and a small shower, but the bed was comfortable. Both our dogs were allowed to stay in the room, just not on the beds. The manager was energetic and vibrant. We’ll come back!

We’ve been travelling around the country for two weeks, and this was the best-value motel we’ve stayed at. It had all the basic essentials, and the owner stayed up to meet us after the late ferry. Really good hospitality.

The room was quiet, spacious, very clean and comfortable, though a little dated. Free Wi-Fi is available, but it comes from a single large AP, so the signal is only average.
