Wendy made check-in feel easy and welcoming, and we really appreciated the upgrade to a slightly larger room. The place was quiet, clean, and felt safe. We slept well on the comfy bed and pillows, and the shower had strong pressure with a jetted bath too. There’s plenty of parking on site. We’ll come back next time we’re in town.

For a work stop, this was a great place to get a proper night’s sleep. The bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve had, and the room had everything I needed for an overnight stay. The owners were so welcoming and lovely. I’d happily stay here again.

The hosts were the highlight for us. You both were easily the loveliest people we’ve met at any place we’ve stayed, and your warmth made the whole visit feel special. We loved every minute and would gladly return. Apart from a couple of pricier places, this is the best accommodation we’ve experienced anywhere in the country. Everything was exceptional, and we’d recommend it to anyone.

Sockburn was just the right location for my trip. I had a very pleasant three-night stay, and the unit was clean and comfortable. The hosts are lovely and made me feel very welcome.
