Central Park Motor Lodge

The room's condition was awful. There were blood stains and other dirty marks on the sheets, the floors were filthy, and there were cobwebs in the corners. The windows had mold all around them. The fridge was damaged and looked dirty, and the bench had dirty marks too. There was no bathroom fan, so after one short shower condensation covered every window in the unit and the whole place stayed damp. Leaving the windows open while we were out wasn't safe, since someone could reach through an open window to unlock either the front sliding door or the back door. Parking was also concerning because it was hard to fit a car between the pillars. I've read other reviews and seen the owner arguing back, which made it seem like he takes no responsibility for the state of the place. I hope he sees this and takes action. This shouldn't be open to the public. I'll add more photos in my next post since I can only include a certain number here, and the photos back up what I've said.

Our shopping was taken from the car while it was parked in their car park. The motel owners didn't seem to care much. Thought I'd share that.

Cleanliness was poor, and maintenance seemed neglected. The duvet had stains, the shower leaked, and there was no towel rail, toilet roll holder, or compendium. Some light bulbs were out too.

The beds were uncomfortable, and the room was very small despite having two beds set up. There were hairs from a previous guest on the sheet, which made us wonder if the motel changes the sheets between guests. I don't recommend it. About the manager or owner's reply: if you manage or own the place, you need to address guest concerns and improve the service, or you may lose guests. When someone says they're unhappy, your response comes across as sophistry. That may explain why I saw so many bad reviews here. I did stay there, even though another member of our family made the booking. Why would I leave feedback if I hadn't been a guest? Improve the service if you really care about guest reviews.
