The room worked for a wheelchair and walking frame except for the shower, where the stool had been removed from the wall and no replacement was available. Staff couldn't move me to another room and offered a high bar stool instead. With my multiple pelvic fractures, it wasn't safe to get on and off it. I got no refund, discount, or free breakfast, and no explanation for why the room was still available to book. After I asked to speak with the manager the next morning, I received an apology and was told they'd fix the room before booking more guests. Let's hope they do.

The location is good and central, but the staff weren't very attentive. Our spacious, well-equipped room wasn't very clean. Breakfast was very limited: cheap toast, no meat such as salami or ham, no cheese, and no fruit. Bacon and sausages were available, along with simple black coffee. We stayed two nights and wouldn't return for the price we paid.

It was a nice change after four nights sharing one room, with plenty more nights still to come. My adult daughter and I needed two beds, so I found an affordable apartment and surprised her with her own room and a queen-size bed. The area and hotel were both quiet.

Check-in was smooth after we completed the pre-check-in, and the rooms seemed very new. It's a great spot close to the city center. We took a short walk to rivierside market for food. Parking costs $20 a day, and the heated towel warmers in the bathroom were a nice surprise.
