We’ve finally found our Christchurch place. We stay often, and it’s quiet, clean, and tidy, with friendly staff who are always accommodating. Most places have beds that are too firm for us, but these are comfortable and we sleep well. Even on our second visit, there was a handwritten card with our names and a little treat in the room. Those thoughtful touches, along with the staff, make us feel welcome, almost like family. We highly recommend Scenic Hotel Cotswold. Thanks for looking after us every time, from the very first stay.

The service at Scenic Hotel Cotswold was outstanding, and breakfast was wonderful. We stayed in the Royal House of Lancaster suite, which had beautiful rooms and more than we expected, including a bathroom heater and a fireplace in the living room. It also had a lovely European feel. Definitely worth a stop on your travels.

The cleaning staff were wonderful, making sure we had enough towels and coffee and being friendly, capable, and very accommodating. Parking was plentiful and easy to use, and it’s a short drive to town and local takeaways. Our room was spacious, quiet, and very clean, with a good shower, plenty of space for toiletries, and windows that opened for fresh air. It was rather dark with little natural light, but there was enough electric lighting. I did wish there’d been a small kitchen bench, a microwave, and a somewhat larger fridge with some cutlery, plates, and bowls. We like making sandwiches and heating things up, but the tiny fridge and wooden border table didn’t really work for that. We had a great stay, thank you!

We had a child-free night to relax and were given an upgrade when we arrived. The room was lovely, with a big lounge, a spacious bedroom, and a nice bathroom with a good-sized bath. The bed was super comfortable too. It’s in a great, central spot for Chch city. I’d recommend it and would stay again.

The food, room, and staff were all lovely during my stay at the cotswold. There’s a new coffee cart since my last visit, which was a nice addition. I enjoyed my morning coffees out in the sun, and it would be a lovely spot for a drink at sunset too. Thanks for a lovely stay.
