This was easily the best motel I’ve stayed at. The rooms were spacious and clean, with everything we needed. The kitchenette was well stocked, there was plenty of parking, and our room even had a jacuzzi hot tub. Rick was such a kind, welcoming host and went out of his way to help. He even drove me to the airport while he was heading out to buy linen from a nearby shop. I’m very grateful for his hospitality. I hope to come back soon and would recommend it to anyone visiting Christchurch.

We had a wonderful two-night stay at Sherborne Motel. It’s well placed for getting around Christchurch and close to all the amenities. Our unit was spotless and had a kitchenette, which made things more comfortable. Rick was kind and helpful, and shared plenty of good suggestions for places to visit. After we’d checked out, he emailed to say my partner had left his jacket behind and offered to send it to our next hotel at no charge. I’d highly recommend Sherborne Motel for the service and genuine hospitality.

The city was an easy walk, about 20 minutes or closer to 30 at a slower pace, and restaurants and a hotel were less than five minutes away. Our accommodation was clean, all the beds suited us, and Rick’s service went above and beyond. A great place to stay. 😊👏

Rick, the owner, was genuinely helpful and happy to do anything he could. We checked out early and left our bags at the motel, and he offered to collect us from the city and take us to the airport bus stop. The room was spacious, had all the amenities, and the beds were comfortable. The bus stop for the CBD is just one street away.

The room was clean and really comfortable, and the host was lovely. They pointed out nearby shops and places to eat, as well as services in the area. I stayed four nights last month and would definitely come back. Thanks for the lovely accommodation.
