Triple Treat on Fitzgerald - Your 3-BR Getaway

Room 1 was a decent size, with a bedroom, small kitchen for cooking dinner, lounge and separate bathroom. Check-in was quick and easy, and the staff were very friendly. But I hardly slept either night. On Friday, cars raced along the main road while people yelled and screamed on the footpath. Saturday brought more loud conversations from people walking past and cars accelerating quickly away from the lights. It was so noisy that at 11:55pm I just wanted to leave and find somewhere else to stay. The room itself is good, but the noise outside the motel was awful. I wouldn’t choose room 1. I don’t know how noisy the other rooms are.

We loved our weekend here and would come back. The room was immaculate and had everything we needed, and the late arrival was no problem even though our flight got in late. It’s quiet and felt safe, with most places an easy walk away. There are lovely cafes literally around the corner, so breakfast was sorted, and Uber is easy to get if you don’t feel like walking. A fab little motel.

The owner was really kind and friendly. My plans changed, so I asked about checking out a day early without expecting any money back, but the owner refunded the full cost of that night. The room was spacious, clean and tidy, in a great location, and had all the kitchenware.

The rooms aren’t large, but there’s enough space for three people. There’s plenty of parking on site, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
