The beds were comfortable, though they may be too short if you're tall. It's a modern, adequate place, but the dorm setup is odd: heavy fire doors close and lock automatically, and the only ventilation is through a skylight that shuts by itself when it rains.

It's clean, tidy, and very modern, with an upmarket bunkroom or hostel feel. But although it can suit up to 36 guests, each communal bathroom has only two showers. The four-bunk bedrooms have no windows, drawers, or wardrobes, and there are no towels or toiletries. The rates were overpriced, though they're now advertising cheaper ones. Read the small print, this isn't a motel.

Less than an hour from Queenstown, this was a much cheaper option than the other apartments we looked at. It's modern, secure, affordable, and has the facilities we needed for a comfortable stay. Highly recommend it.
