Good value for money, in my opinion. The place seems clean and tidy, with a good kitchen that has a kettle, microwave, and toaster, plus bathroom amenities. It's an old building with creaky floorboards, and plugs behind the headboards were awkward to reach. Parking is limited, only five or six spaces for more rooms than that.

Over Christmas, we had a fantastic stay at Highland House Boutique Hotel. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the location is close to town. The manager was incredible, helping with our luggage and leaving a Christmas gift that our children loved. We were also really impressed by his Te Reo Māori. Highly recommend!

There's a bit of history to this nice little place. Our family suite was spacious, with a small separate bedroom for one of our kids. The shower cabin was new and clean.

The owners and staff were very friendly at this lovely heritage hotel. It's a handy spot for everything you need in Dunedin, with a great location whether you're heading north or south.
