I've stayed here years ago on holiday and recently again for work, and both times were fantastic. The staff are lovely, and the rooms are clean and tidy. I had a room with a stovetop, which was handy for cooking small meals instead of eating out. It's right in the heart of the city, with shops no more than a 10-minute walk away. The parking was always full during my stay.

The rooms were exceptionally clean and tidy, and the beds were comfy. We had some nice views from the top floor. If you don't fancy climbing two flights of stairs, ask for a ground-floor room. They looked nice, and some had courtyards. The location was great, with a very short walk into town and lots of restaurants nearby. For the price, this motel really exceeded my expectations.

We really appreciated the clean rooms and friendly service at Motel on York. They also had one or two thoughtful touches that made us feel they were on our side. Thanks for having us.

The staff were so friendly and always more than willing to help. I stayed for two weeks and felt at home every day. It's really nice and comfortable, and it's set a new standard for me!
