The lift was a welcome help with our luggage, and getting around was easy with pin codes instead of a key. The property was also simple to communicate with, and the directions were clear. We got coffee and chocolate at check-in, too. Our loft apartment was modern, unusual and thoughtfully put together. It had two bedrooms, one downstairs and the other upstairs with the kitchen and living area. Just a heads-up, the skylight in the main bedroom has no blind, but eye masks are provided for anyone sensitive to light. The industrial area nearby turned out to be handy for quiet and easy parking, and the city centre is about a 10-minute walk. Lovely stay, and I’d come back.

The harbour views and easy access to amenities were a big plus. I loved the Loft Apartment’s mix of industrial and modern style, and it was beautifully presented and cared for. We booked just one night, and I wish we’d stayed longer. Highly recommend, and I hope to return soon.

We’ve stayed at The Thomas Gregg apartments twice, and they’re our favourite place to stay in Dunedin. The blend of old and new feels just right, with an industrial look softened by modern and antique furniture and soothing big pot plants. It’s a lovely place to unwind and do nothing, or to crash after a day of shopping and sightseeing. You won’t be disappointed.

Really good loft apartments, clean, modern and well equipped. Not too far from the city centre.

This was my second stay, and I enjoyed it just as much. I really appreciate the authentic way they’ve honoured the building’s unique history. The original artwork and styling are impeccable, and communication was excellent throughout. I’ll look to stay again next time I’m in Dunedin.
