We loved staying on a powered site with our family. The gardens and grounds were immaculate, and the facilities were great. We had dinner together at the barbecue among the gardens. The kids were thrilled to feed the alpacas and could hardly be pulled away from the flying fox. There was just one other camper that night, so it felt very quiet and private, which we love.

The owners clearly put a lot of care into this place. The spacious accommodation felt like everything had been thought of, and the towels, sheets and utensils were all top quality. It was the best place we stayed during our 16-day trip. Had a fabulous stay and would highly recommend it.

Just look up at night and there are romantic stars all over the sky, no special stargazing spot needed. Tekapo is only a 30-40 minute drive away. This is such a cozy, lovely place to stay. Jackie & Murray, thank you for making it feel so warm and comfortable. If you’re in the area, give it a chance!

The friendly alpacas were a highlight. Getting to feed them was such a fun, unusual experience. The place was peaceful, the views were beautiful, and the amenities were spotless and well looked after. A wonderful stay for a relaxing break with a special touch. Highly recommend.

We stayed in the motorhome parking area and had a great time. The welcome was wonderfully warm, the grounds were beautiful, and the facilities were excellent, well maintained and very clean. It’s close to Fairlie’s services and a gateway to the Mackenzie Country. I’ll be back.
