Forest Manor

Breakfast was the best part, homemade bread to toast, homemade yoghurt, toasted muesli, plus fruit, cereal, spreads and butter. It was all very tasty. The old building is beautiful, but some of the modern touches felt odd, like a bathroom sink fitted into an old wooden dresser with cheap plastic taps. The shared TV, lounge and breakfast room had a mismatched mix of sofas and chairs, and garden tables that were moved into the middle for breakfast. A bit strange. Tea and coffee facilities were out on the landing rather than in the room, where I also would have liked a TV and hot drinks. The place was strangely quirky, and I probably wouldn't stay again.
