Liz made us feel so welcome, and our son was especially taken with the breakfast. The Manor had a cosy, enchanting feel, with warm, inviting rooms and really comfortable beds. We thought it was well worth the money. Thanks, Liz.

The bathroom situation was the main drawback for me. It was private in the sense that it was ours, but getting there meant crossing the dining room, and I didn't like the idea of greeting strangers before I'd showered. Our ground-floor room was clean, though it felt crowded with knick-knacks, throw pillows, and other decorations that didn't add much. Breakfast was decent, with juice, drip coffee or tea, cereal, and toast, but no protein. The location worked well for us for a one-night stay. Our host was attentive, made sure we had what we needed, and offered ideas for places to go and eat. She really did her best to make the stay good, which counted for a lot.

The garden was lovely and well cared for, and the place was neat and clean. Liz Heeman was a generous, wonderful woman. Our room had a grand, almost royal feel to it, and we enjoyed our stay. The one drawback was that the bathroom wasn't attached to the room.

Really lovely place, the best I've stayed at. Breakfast was great and the host was so nice. Five stars, I'd recommend it to friends.

Liz, the owner, is lovely. It's an awesome place for holding a function, with entertainment every month, including bands and karaoke.
