The villa-like rooms were spacious, with an enormous bathroom, and a gas fireplace made the living room feel complete. The spa was excellent, though the fitness room could use an upgrade. Friendly staff and a great kitchen for both breakfast and dinner made this a real treat. Around the corner there's also a dairy store and wine tasting run by the same owner, so there are wonderful wines to try. Thanks for everything.

Star gazing at night was magical, and Gibbston Valley felt like a little slice of Heaven. We also played golf at their newly opened course, which was lovely. It's a family owned and operated estate, with each room in its own cabin among the vineyards and everything you could need. There are great wines, a spa, soaking tubs, restaurants, and hiking and biking trails right outside your cabin.

The wine tastings were informative and gave us a nice chance to try some of their own wines. Our villa was beautifully appointed, and we loved starting and ending the day in the lodge dining room, with its welcoming fireplace and little library. We had a totally amazing stay at Gibbston Lodge, a wonderful experience all round.

The whole stay was so relaxing. The spa was great quality, and star gazing was magical, with dark skies and so many amazing sights. We had fun on the e-bikes too, riding along the gibbston river and stopping at a few wineries. The villa-style room had a fireplace for chilly mornings and the bed was incredibly comfortable. We really want to come back. Our only regret was not staying longer.

A lovely anniversary surprise. Our room was amazing, with a fireplace, private deck, and huge bathroom. The restaurant was enormous too, with another big fireplace right in the middle. We enjoyed the wine tasting and cave tour. The e-bikes were great, and the course was easy for me even though I'm not super fit. The scenery was stunning. I hope I get surprised with more anniversaries at this beautiful spot.
