We’d been camping the night before and got caught in a storm, so having free use of the washing machine and dryer was a huge bonus. Check-in was easy, the staff were nice, and our clean room had comfortable beds. The spa bath worked well too. Waikanae beach is close, and the warehouse is an easy walk away.

We slept really well, and everything was clean and tidy when we arrived. Finding our reservation took about half an hour, which was the only downside.

It was very noisy, and we couldn't park outside our unit. The room also needed a much better clean: sticky floor and glasses, dirty carpet, hairs on the shower wall, and a toilet that hadn't been cleaned properly. The fridge door was hard to close too.

The cafe's a good option for dinner, with decent food at a reasonable price. It isn't open on Monday nights, which is why I now book Tuesday to Thursday. For going out, the Wharf and Rivers Bar are about a 10-minute walk into town. I stay here for a couple of business nights, and the rooms are always tidy and clean. The beds and rooms stay warm and comfortable even on the coldest days. Free Wi-Fi and Sky TV are nice to have. You can sometimes hear trucks on the nearby road, but only when a driver is really gunning it.

We booked three rooms online for an amazing price and expected the place might be a bit run down since we were only staying one night. What a surprise when we arrived. The rooms were huge, spotless, and presented like new, with a fully stocked kitchenette and a huge bathroom. Better than rooms I've had in five-star hotels. This was my best experience, and we’ll absolutely come again. Thank you so much!
