The views from every room are incomparable, and staying in Glenorchy is well worth it. The drive to Queenstown isn’t a chore at all, it’s the most beautiful drive ever. The hostess is super friendly and made for a great stay, with awesome amenities like a grill and hot tub in the common areas. Order breakfast if you want a super generous one. There are little extras like bathrobes and toiletries, plus a small kitchenette with a microwave and fridge for simple lunches before day hikes. Such a special touch to our trip, highly recommended!

Sunset and sunrise from the room were stunning. The place was clean, well managed and organized, and had the right amenities. It’s a bit away from the town centre, but you don’t miss anything, and I think it’s probably better there because it feels more natural and scenic. This stay was one of the highlights of our trip. The location is beautiful, and the drive from Queenstown to Glenorchy is one of the most beautiful drives you’ll ever do.

Loved the peace and quiet here. The doggy was super friendly and came up to greet us. There’s also a trampoline and a soccer goal post to pass some time. Love this place, recommend giving it a try!

The room was unbearably hot and stuffy, with no air. I couldn’t sleep all night. They only provided a poor fan that did nothing to help with the heat. The rooms need air conditioning or at least fly screens so guests can open the windows. In the morning, we couldn’t even use the bathroom because it was full of all kinds of bugs you can imagine. By far the worst experience of our month travelling in NZ.

Probably our favourite B&B of all time. The owners are super lovely, and the town is great to walk around. There are also tons of LotR filming locations in the area. Highly recommended.
