Shelley made us feel very welcome and knew the area well. The studio was super comfortable, with a queen bed, plenty of living space, a private bathroom and a well-equipped kitchen with a full-size fridge/freezer and oven. There was good internet and a beautiful view across Golden Bay towards the Farewell Spit. A perfect place to unwind on our visit to Golden Bay. Many thanks.

Shelly and Steve welcomed us with wonderful warmth and enthusiasm, and they know the Golden Bay Area well. We live in Mapua and wanted a couple of nights away without going too far, so the drive of just over an hour suited us. Our studio was clean, nicely decorated and clearly cared for, with breathtaking views. Weka hens from the surrounding native bush would appear in the distance, while still leaving us privacy. We could easily have stayed several days if we hadn't had other commitments. We'll definitely return, hopefully for a week or more next time.

The beds were comfortable, the place nicely appointed, and the views across the bay were great. Shelley was a terrific host. Thoroughly recommend.

The host was so helpful, and the amenities were fabulous, from the cooking facilities to the lovely bathroom. Beautiful place and well located. Can't wait to return.
