The hosts were generous, kind, and relaxed. I wouldn’t recommend leaving your coat behind, but having it arrive in the post today was wonderful. The room had everything I needed, and the bed was gloriously comfortable. It felt calm and comfortable as soon as I walked in, and the place was clean, tidy, modern, and warm. Thank you so much!

Daniel was such a warm host during our one night stay. He even went out of his way to help load and unload our luggage at check in and check out. A fine gentleman, and his service was impeccable. After nearly two weeks travelling around NZ, this felt like one of the most homely, clean, and cosy hotels we’d stayed in. Everything looked so new, almost as if we were the first guests. They’d even placed a fresh rose in a vase. The hotel is within walking distance of most amenities and restaurants. I’d definitely recommend Melody for a decent, affordable, comfortable stay. Thanks again to Daniel for being such a great host!

The rooms are modern and top notch, and Daniel was a very nice host who was extremely helpful and accommodating. I’d definitely recommend it. The rooms are accessed internally through the main reception area, so it feels more like a hotel without a restaurant. My one wish would be for better off street parking that felt more secure. Otherwise, it’s well worth every penny.

The host was caring and helpful, and the service was excellent. Our room in this newly built motel was immaculate and well presented, with a gorgeous bathroom and a very comfortable bed. Couldn’t fault a thing, and we’d definitely stay again.
