The lodge feels luxurious, peaceful, and wonderfully welcoming. A wood fire was going when Chris and Teara greeted us, and the place has a lovely rustic pride to it. You can spot Mount Saint Paul Estate on the hillside as the plane comes in. It’s close to the airport, though the last stretch is a winding driveway with grass and gravel. Chef Teara’s food was a highlight. Her care and experience showed in every meal, and we were left wanting more. My husband and I stayed the weekend of 13 and 14 May 2017. If we get the chance, we’ll return. Audrey & Michael xx
