Sue and Phil made us feel at home as soon as we arrived. They were always happy to chat and shared lots of tips for the area and New Zealand. The B&B was lovely, with plenty of natural light, a big garden, terrace and pool, plus enough room to park. We slept really well in the comfy beds, and breakfast was delicious. I'd stay with Sue & Phil again anytime!

We loved Hahei, a beautiful, cozy beach town where everything is within walking distance. Hahei Bed and Breakfast was a real gem. Sue and Phil were lovely hosts, their house and rooms were beautiful, and breakfast was fantastic. They also knew so much about the area and were happy to share information.

The Garden room felt homely and was clean, with a lovely en-suite and wardrobe. Breakfast was plentiful, delicious, and had lots of choice. Sue and Phil are friendly, informative hosts, and the gardens are beautifully maintained. The pool is lovely too. It's just out of town, around a 10-minute walk, with another 10 minutes to the beautiful beach.

Hahei is a delightful beach town, and the outstanding beach is an easy, pleasant 10-minute walk from this beautifully run B&B. Phil and Sue were cheerful and relaxed while doing a great job as hosts. Our bright, spacious room was well appointed, with a large private bathroom and access to a shared balcony overlooking the lovely pool. We appreciated the eco focus, beach towels, and excellent toiletries. Breakfast was superb, freshly prepared in front of us.

We had a wonderful three days, and the gardens were such a nice place to sit and relax. Sue and Phil felt like friends by the time we left. Our room was spotless and comfortable, and the bed gave me the best sleep of my month-long holiday. Breakfasts were really good, and if we asked for something they had, we got it. Phil gave us good suggestions for places to visit. Sue, we really enjoyed Driving Creek Railway, even though some of the roads felt a little scary at times. If we return to New Zealand, we'd love to visit again and would recommend this B&B to anyone. Thanks again, Kathleen & Tony Ball, Canada 🇨🇦
