Elaine and Alan made our time at Tranquility Homestay feel like a proper home away from home. We had some lovely husband-and-wife time in the peaceful place we’re lucky to have in our hometown, Upper Hutt, from Mon 24 Dec to Thur 27 Dec 2018. They put out a continental breakfast each morning and were gr8 hosts. Thanks for such a blessed bit of pampering. Blessings Abundantly, Vicki and Riini X

Allan and Elaine are really lovely, and we always feel welcome when we come back. We’ve stayed quite a few times now. They’re happy to help with anything. Love staying there.

The spa bath room was omg beautiful, and I loved the room. Tranquility really lived up to its name. Lovely surroundings and excellent service too. I’ve recommended Tranquility homestay to all my friends.

A good place. You share it with the owners, though some rooms have their own entrance. The bed was good, and the en suite in the rose room was extremely nice.

The owner was friendly, but the room wasn’t clean. We stayed one night and I couldn’t sleep at all because of a strong smell. There was expired food in the fridge too. The bread had expired more than a month ago.
