Argent Motor Lodge

I was here while staying by a family member’s hospital bedside, and having everything I needed made a very difficult time easier. The location was a huge help, and I’m genuinely grateful. The staff were kind, friendly and thoughtful throughout. Housekeeping was thorough, with rooms cleaned every day, which meant a lot when I got back late at night. The appliances, fittings and amenities are fairly new, clean and well maintained.

The host was amazing, communicating well and doing his best to make us comfortable. The lady who checked us in seemed confronting at first, but she came around and was lovely too. It’s a great location if you need a bed near the hospital. The host might offer you a ride up, and it’s an easy walk as well. Takeout is close, and the supermarket’s a quick drive away. Even though it’s right on the main road, shutting the door cuts out the road noise, and the room design keeps it pretty quiet. There’s lots of kitchen gear for making your own food, even egg cups, plus little touches that make the stay nicer. Clean and very tidy.

Graeme was super friendly and welcoming to my wife and me. Excellent accommodation, and we’d definitely stay again!

We stayed a few nights at the beginning of August 2025. The rooms were clean, tidy and spacious, and it was important for our family and extended family to be close to the hospital so we could easily visit our sick relative. Graeme went above and beyond with his service and compassion during a sad time for us. I highly recommend Graeme and the team for their great service, and I’ll definitely recommend Argent Motor Lodge. AAA+
