Fountain City Motor Inn

My mum stays here a few times each month for work, and I've been back several times too. The rooms are clean and fairly new. The owner is one of the loveliest people to deal with, and she makes you feel welcome, like nothing is a problem. Mum sometimes has back and knee issues, so the owner has swapped the dining room chairs for her own ones. You don't get that kind of service everywhere. They're quick to bring things like extra towels when asked. The covered pool is usually tepid, and the motel is upgrading the bathrooms in all the rooms. It's one of the best places to stay around here, and they're very accommodating.

The room was tidy and clean, and it was nice to have a decent amount of space. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. We had a lovely swim, and the security seemed good. A handrail by the pool would make getting in and out easier.

Clean and comfortable, this motel worked well for my one-night stay. The air conditioning was a plus. I was upstairs, and there's no lift, so if a disability makes stairs difficult, ask for a ground-floor room. I'd stay again.

The king bed was very comfortable, and the shower was great. The premises feel a bit dated, with paint peeling from the hallway walls and the unit ceiling. The pillows provided were too soft and had seen better days, so bring your own. Parking was a concern too, since there are no markings and people park however they like.
