Country Villa Estate

The peaceful setting made it easy to relax and recharge, and breakfast was the highlight of our stay at Country Villa Estate near Rotorua. It was beautifully presented, fully organic, and made with fresh, natural ingredients. You could really taste the quality and care in every bite. We’d love to come back. The hosts welcomed us warmly and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. They were always attentive and helpful. Our room was furnished with comfort and style in mind, and the thoughtful details gave it a cozy, inviting feel. For a place close to Rotorua with such welcoming hosts, comfortable rooms, and a memorable breakfast, this was a great choice.

Breakfast was a real treat. Danny makes a great flat white, and the yogurt, fruit, and eggs were served like little works of art. Much of the food was grown by Mable on the property or nearby. Mable and Danny made us feel very welcome, and we loved the comfortable rooms and beautiful grounds, with lots of cozy spots indoors and out to sit and read. We’ll have to plan another trip to NZ just to stay here.

The rural setting and gardens were lovely, and Rotorua was only a 10-minute drive away. We spent three nights at Country Villa Estate and felt very welcome in the beautiful house. Danny and Mabel were excellent hosts. Mabel made tasty, beautifully presented breakfasts each morning. We’d definitely recommend staying here in the Rotorua area.

Country Villa feels like a destination in its own right, not just a place to sleep. The hosts are incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the breakfasts are memorable, delicious works of art. A lot of the produce is grown right at the villa.
