Amici Motel

We came all the way from Waikato as a huge family, and the welcome at Amici was wonderful. The young women we dealt with were amazing, so accommodating to all of us, and worth their weight in gold. We'll definitely stay at Amici again when we're back in Hastings. Thanks so much, from the Riddell family.

My work and personal plans brought me to Hasting, and I was sorting out the last details before leaving Auckland. I arrived at Amici Motel around 8:30 pm, just as the lovely woman at reception was due to close. She waited for me, and I really appreciated it. I honestly don't know where I would've slept if she'd closed before I got there. The room suited me well, a good size, with the basics like a toaster and kettle. It was easy to walk to local shops and petrol stations, and housekeeping was lovely too. I work at Rydges Hotel in Auckland City, and I'm 21. People know me as Campese and/or Gabbie. I had a comfortable, enjoyable stay and will come back soon to visit my partner. Thanks to Amici Motels and the kind woman who checked me in, and my housekeeper. See you again soon!

The room was cosy and peaceful, but then we spotted cockroaches and earwigs. The service could have been more helpful at first, though they eventually sorted it out and kindly didn't charge us for the night. The bug problem needs attention.

The staff were friendly, and the rooms were very clean, comfortable, and well equipped. It's a quiet spot despite being on the main road. I'd recommend it and come back, though I'd almost rather keep it to myself.
