We had a peaceful site by the creek, even with rain all weekend. The kids loved seeing the ducks and pukeko, and the four of them, all five and under, had a blast. It was a great family spot with friendly service over Wellington Anniversary weekend. The park is a short drive from town and right beside the strawberry patch and sunflower fields, great for summer adventures with kids. The pool and playground were good, and there was a full kitchen plus clean toilets and showers. The showers had hot water on generous ten-minute timers, and there were straighteners and blow dryers too. Staff quickly sorted out my WiFi trouble and were helpful and friendly. I look forward to coming back in the sun. Highly recommend.

We stayed in a group cabin and found the rooms clean, with air conditioning and a TV. The shared kitchen and bathrooms were clean as well. The pool on site and the atmosphere were both lovely. Albee at the front desk suggested the cabin and was friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable about the area. It was our first holiday park stay, and we were impressed. We'd definitely return.

We've stayed here many times, and it's always been great. The busy staff keep the shared facilities and grounds in good shape, and they still have time for a Mōrena or a wave. They're happy to help and find solutions. Even the pancakes are happy!

The group cabin worked really well for us, with two little kids in one room and the adults in the main room. They supplied linen, though not blankets or towels, as well as cutlery, plates, a microwave, fridge, jug, and toaster, so we only needed the shared spaces for a few things. It was a really nice setup, with all the amenities we needed, and late check-in was a big help.

It has the basics: very clean, with free showers, BBQ, kitchen, and other facilities. But if you're after a sense of wonder or a 'wow' while travelling around NZ, this isn't the place. It felt strangely depressing, like an empty old-school campground despite other campers being around. There's no view, just houses and concrete, though there is a duck river. I've always had great experiences at other Top 10s, but this one made me sad.
